How Our Pickup Service Works

At eLake Tech Solutions, we offer completely electronics pickup for businesses and organizations with 12 or more items across Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan. There are no hidden fees and no obligations. For fewer than 12 items, you can drop off at our Livonia facility. Here is how it works:

Step 1: Tell Us What You Have

Fill out our online pickup request form or call us at (734) 469-4111. Let us know what type of equipment you have and approximate quantities. You do not need exact counts — a general description like '50 old laptops and a few printers' is enough.

Step 2: We Schedule a Convenient Time

We will contact you within hours during business hours to schedule a pickup time that works for your organization. We are flexible and can work around your schedule.

Step 3: We Come to You

Our team arrives at your location with the right vehicle and equipment. We load everything up — you do not need to disconnect, sort, or prepare anything. Just point us to the equipment and we handle the rest.

Step 4: You Get Documentation

After processing, you receive Certificates of Recycling and Certificates of Destruction (for data-bearing devices) for your compliance records.

What We Pick Up

We pick up virtually all business electronics: desktop computers, laptops, servers, monitors (recycling fee applies), printers and copiers, networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), phones and phone systems, tablets and smartphones, cables and peripherals, UPS battery backups, and more. If you are not sure whether we accept something, just ask.
